COHS Boosters

Over the past 9 years Wolfpack Robotics has created a lot of really cool robots.  They've shot basketballs, launched gravity defying mini-bots, hurled frisbees, climbed 8 foot tall jungle gyms, climbed ropes, the list goes on an on.  It's been a lot of fun! However the thing we are most proud of creating are the amazing engineers that have come from our team.  Graduates from our program have have attended Stanford, Berkeley, West Point, UCLA, UC San Diego, both Cal Poly's, Sacramento State and many more.  After college our alumni have gone out into the world as professional engineers making it a better place for us all.  The world needs more engineers and scientists.

Though we have won off-season events and various awards over the years, we have never qualified to go to the World Championships.  That all changed this week when we won the Sacramento Regional competition (and also took home the Excellence in Engineering award).  All of the incredibly long hours and sacrifice were repaid with gold around our necks, a blue banner for our shop, trophies for the cabinet and a renewed enthusiasm for engineering.

The next obstacle is paying for worlds.  We are hoping to raise $10,000 to help get our team to Houston Texas where we will do battle with our little robot (the C.I. Familiaris) with and against the best teams from around the world.

>  Tournament entry fees are $5,000
>  We need to get our tools/equipment to/from Houston $1,000 (we are going in on a truck with 4 other teams)
> Anything funds raised above $6000 will go to help offset travel costs to Houston and back.
