Common Ground Farm Inc (Common Ground, Beacon Farmers' Market, Newburgh Farmers' Market)

The mission of the Beacon Farmers’ Market is to feed and engage the Beacon community, support local farms and businesses, and create a more just food system. The Covid-19 crisis has elevated our need to fulfill this mission in new ways and has driven the market to develop resiliency and flexibility into our operations.  For public health safety, the Beacon Farmers' Market is moving to an on-line ordering system, where citizens can pre-order all of their favorite market goods.  
 

Built into the online platform will be a sliding scale pricing system, which will allow families to pay what they are able, and receive the fresh, local produce that they need. We will also be implementing a sponsorship program, where you can donate to support a family in our community by funding their order. The Beacon Farmers' Market is also developing online EBT processing so that our customers who use SNAP and our Greens4Greens program can place orders to be picked up (or delivered) on Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm. 

 
HOW CAN YOU HELP--if you are able, please donate to support our food access program at the market. This fund will help the Beacon Farmers' Market support regional farms and local businesses while ensuring that everyone in our community has access to affordable fresh local food.
