Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County

My name is Meredith Kieschnick and I am a pediatrician who has practiced in Southwest Santa Rosa for 20 years. My practice has focused on the children of aspiring Americans. Following the massive burning in Santa Rosa this week I have been helping patients who were taking refuge in emergency shelters since the fire. I can tell you the majority of our Latino families who have lost everything are in serious trouble.  They fear to use  shelters, are not eligible for FEMA assistance, and don't have rental insurance.  Our patients and our workers deserve our support now, more than ever. They pay taxes, they work hard, and they are generous and amazing.   I ask that you donate to this fund so that we can directly support an important part of our community, whose values are strong, and wonderful.  This fund can help them to start again with rental and utility deposits.  Your dollars get them started on the road to a home.  Community Action is well known and trusted.  I hope that you will help these families!
