Hello CSWS Supporters!

The Family Action Committee has been working on plans to share the love with our CSWS Educators every day of the week, May 5-9.

As a reminder, our school has a no individual gifting policy as a part of its dedication to inclusivity. To ensure that each and every one of the educators who spend time with our kids - in the classrooms, studio, breakfast club, extended day, snack & lunch - are appreciated, we ask that community members financially contribute to our community gift fund. Currently our community gifts for the week include: a catered lunch, a catered breakfast, school swag, a self-care gift bag, afternoon sweet treats, and $$ in the form of gift cards. Any money raised above what is needed for the tangible items listed will be added to the gift card funds and go directly to the educators.

If you are able to make a financial contribution to the community gifts, please do so right here or drop off cash or checks to be put in the Educator Appreciation Fund envelope at the front office.

To fulfill our gift wish list, we are hoping to utilize as many community connections as possible. We will send a list out of things the community can help with, as time is just as meaningful as a monetary gift. Let the FAC know if you can help with any of those items.

Hello CSWS Families!

With Spring Break around the corner, we wanted to reach out regarding planning for Teacher Appreciation Week in May. The Family Action committee has been working on ideas to share the love with our CSWS teachers every day of the week, May 6-10, with a goal to fill their buckets both figuratively and literally.

We will have buckets for each teacher stationed at school near the kitchen. We encourage families to make homemade cards to drop in the buckets throughout the week. We'll also have paper and prompts for families to use to fill buckets at school (i.e. what's one thing you love about this teacher? what's one word to describe this teacher? what's your favorite memory of this teacher? what do you appreciate most about this teacher?) We encourage adults to fill these out with words of gratitude as well! The plan is to send these buckets full of love home with every teacher at the end of appreciation week Friday afternoon.
