Boundless Playground SJC
Have you ever heard of a boundless playground? This is a playground where ALL children, all abilities, all ages can play without boundaries and be accessible for everyone. We need to raise $600,000. With just a $30 tax-deductible donation per household, we can make this happen!
This 7,850 square foot playground will be located at Aberdeen Park on the backside of Field of Dreams baseball field. It will have ramp access for children in wheelchairs, slides, a graduated ropes course, different types of swings, see saw, music/tonal vibration pieces, low level - small motor manipulatives, bridges, picnic area, pip flooring, and shade structure.
The park will benefit over 26,000 special needs children and 166,000 typical children. The dream is to see our children, my children, your children play together and grow. This playground will be first of its kind in St. Johns county.
We know this is a lofty project, but a worthy one. We have set a two-year timeframe to raise funds. We have an integrative design that the best teachers, parents, and therapists have agreed will add loads of physicality, education, and boundless freedom.
Please help us unify our children and create a safe play space. Thank you in advance for your consideration. And check out our video at FODbaseball.com to know more about our free special needs baseball program.
