Someone has vandalized the Wildland Firefighters Monument in Prineville, Oregon. How could anyone, regardless of age, damage such an important monument? Dedicated in 1996 in the memory of nine members of the Prineville Hotshots, who were among 14 firefighters who died on July 6, 1994, while fighting the South Canyon Fire outside Glenwood Springs, Colorado.  This memorial defines our City’s heart and dedication to those who serve.

We are raising money to help restore and maintain the statue and also provide some security features around the memorial.
