Denton is a vibrant hub of creativity, where individuals from diverse backgrounds passionately explore their artistic talents. Our aim is to provide opportunities for these creative individuals to thrive.

At Denton Maker Center (DMC), we strive to be the central location for creative making in the greater Denton area, and we are dedicated to serving communities of artists and makers. Located just off the downtown Denton square, DMC offers a variety of activities and resources including craft workshops, studio space, a retail shop featuring handmade works from local makers, and special events, all designed to nurture a thriving community of makers.

On January 25th, 2025, DMC will celebrate its Grand Opening! We will celebrate the launch of our new metals studio and digital fabrication lab, complete with 3D printers, a laser cutter, an enameling kiln, and all sorts of tools and toys for makers. This is where your support can make a transformative difference!

We are seeking donations to strengthen our core mission of supporting, promoting, and encouraging all of the Arts related to making.

We’re fundraising for the Denton Maker Center to have the financial support necessary to sign a lease for a location. At this location, we will be able to offer a wide variety of workshops, seminars, and community activities. The funds will be used to cover start-up expenses until regular income is generated through workshop fees and material sales. Please donate to help support this much needed new resource for the Denton and North Texas communities.

We envision that the Denton Maker Center (DMC) will become a hub of creative activity for Denton and the larger North Texas region. By providing a diverse selection of workshops, events and seminars, DMC will not only enrich individual’s lives but the greater community as well. We believe that creativity and making is fundamental to the human experience and connects us all through shared learning and personal growth. By providing a space for these positive and productive events to occur, DMC will reinforce existing networks while fostering new connections and relationships.
