Honoring the Legacy of Marilyn D. Gavins: Supporting SCA Awareness and Organ Donation

We are heartbroken that our beloved mother, Marilyn, passed away last week after going into sudden cardiac arrest. Despite being revived four times, she was unable to recover from her cardiac crisis. Marilyn was a light in our lives, known for her warmth, resilience, and generosity. In her honor, we want to make sure no family has to endure the pain of losing a loved one to sudden cardiac arrest.

To honor her legacy, we are raising money for the Dominic A. Murray 21 Foundation, an organization dedicated to educating the public about sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and saving lives through awareness and prevention. By supporting their mission, we hope to prevent other families from facing such a devastating loss. Please consider donating in her memory so that we can continue to spread awareness, support heart health, and help save lives.

In addition to this cause, we also encourage everyone to consider becoming an organ donor. Our mother, Marilyn, was an organ donor, and through her selfless decision, we find comfort in knowing that she will live on in others. Her legacy of giving will continue to touch lives in ways we can only imagine.
