Don't Forget Us...Pet Us animal sanctuary strives to protect and advocate for animals in need. We rescue and provide sanctuary to animals that are sick, neglected, and discarded - giving them the second chance they deserve. The sanctuary has over 60 animals in our care, ranging from horses and cows to cats and dogs. Although our animals all have individual personalities and unique care requirements, one thing most of them have in common is what they eat: HAY.

HAY is a required staple here at the sanctuary. It is the main source of food for most of our farm animals and we NEED to ensure that we have sufficient hay stores in order to keep our residents healthy and happy. A "national hay shortage" is being predicted due to weather affecting the hay growing season.  We are concerned that we may not be able to find the good quality, second cut hay that our animals, especially our seniors, need.  We need to purchase enough hay to get us through the winter now! As it is likely that quality hay will be difficult to find and/or prices will be inflated.

The sanctuary is 100% donor funded and 100% volunteer run. Every dollar donated goes directly to our animals' care. We count on the generosity of supporters to help animals in need.  Can you please support our Buy-a-Bale Fundraiser by donating the cost of one hay bale?
Right now we can purchase second cut, small square bales for $10 a bale. Our animals  go through about 12- 18 small bales a day.

Please help get our sanctuary animals through the winter. We expect the need to help horses and farm animals in our community to sky rocket in the next few months due to the hay shortage.  A $10 donation will make a huge difference ...every bale is a lifesaver right now!
