Help Aniya and Juan go to college
We are raising money for Aniya and Juan to go to college. They are both amazing students who go to Dorsey High School in South LA, where 90% of students are below the poverty line and 70% are foster or live in group homes.
Aniya and Juan are two amazing students in our Dorsey Green Program, where they built a sauce company with the students to provide them income.
Aniya and Juan will be the first in the families to attend college and have grown up not living with their parents. They both have amazing aspirations, they are kind, humble, resilient and intelligent. Even with financial aid based on their economic status, students still end up having to work full time in college to cover expenses like food, housing, transportation, and learning materials. Sometimes these challenges make it impossible to attend college based on those difficult realities.
Lets give them a chance to achieve their dreams....
