Bryce 4 month old puppy's surgery and rehab

Bryce needed a major orthopedic surgery and will need about two weeks of rehabilitation at a specialty hospital before he can go into a foster home, and be available to adopt. Anyone that follows Downtown Dog Rescue DDR knows that we rarely categorize an injury as abuse or even neglect. Most of the time, the injuries are accidents that could happen to anyone. However, Bryce was likely beaten, shoved, and pushed, as in blunt force trauma that broke his leg in several places. X-rays determined that a splint was not going to do the job. He needed pins and a plate to put his bones back together. Because his owner was homeless, living on the streets of Skid Row, not even living in a tent, she kept moving around with Bryce despite his broken leg. We offered her $50 to buy him, d she agreed, and two days later he had his surgery. He has been in a short-term foster home with a student vet tech, but he needs more care than a typical foster can offer. We are boarding him at CARE, where he will receive extensive and specialized care to help him heal as fast as possible. We have had a lot of expensive veterinary emergencies lately, and overall, we are running low on funds, in general, to pay for these expensive life-saving surgeries. We hope that you can donate something to help cover the cost of his care Please consider sharing this fundraiser. Thank you
