My name is Naomi. I faced bullying and peer pressure at my previous school, which affected my confidence and mental health. My parents moved me to the DUC Learning Center for safety, and now I am thriving! With supportive teachers and a nurturing environment, my grades have improved. I have made new Friends and Teammates I play soccer with.

Bullying can have a lasting impact on children. That is why the DUC Learning Center provides a safe space where students can grow academically and emotionally. We are raising awareness about bullying and supporting programs transforming children’s lives.

On February 9, 2024, we lost Army veteran Raymond Childs Sr., a man who dedicated his life to serving our country and empowering underprivileged youth through education. Beyond his 6 years of military service, Raymond worked tirelessly to mentor students, support local schools, and create scholarships, believing education was the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.
