January is human trafficking awareness month and to bring more awareness of this growing problem in our country I'll be running/biking the Durham County line from January 25th-28th. I'll be covering about 30 miles a day and will have a few people joining me! I'm hoping I can bring more attention to the issue of human trafficking across our state and raise funds to help support survivors. Human trafficking is a multi million dollar business where individuals are the product. My goal is to raise funds to help our non-profit support these survivors. $5 can help cover a meal for a survivor or child, $25 can help us buy clothes for a survivor, $30 can help buy a buss pass to get a survivor to a safe place, $65 will help cover a night of safe shelter for a survivor, and $125 can help us relocate a survivor when living here is too dangerous. Anything helps, even $5 and all donations are tax deductible and go directly to Durham Crisis Response Center to help support survivors.
