Launch the NH Campaign to Raise Child Care Pay!
The pandemic highlighted what many of us already knew: child care is VERY IMPORTANT to our economy, to our families, to our children - and to all of us. Child care professionals are "The Workforce Behind the Workforce" because they support today's workforce while preparing tomorrow's.
Parents can't afford to pay,
Teachers can't afford to stay,
There's got to be a better way!
Even today, that longstanding child care saying is still true. It's time - past time! - to change that and find a better way here in New Hampshire.
We can do it! Let's make sure the pay of our beloved and talented child care professionals FINALLY catches up with their importance - AND - hard-working parents no longer have to cover the whole cost of needed pay raises.
Early Learning NH asks ALL who care about child care professionals to help us launch and staff a bold, top-notch campaign alongside other partners that will find a new, dedicated revenue source to permanently raise child care pay - once and for all! Donations go to getting the Campaign started and to supporting the staffing needed.
