To honor Flora’s memory and her passionate commitment to small businesses, the Flora B. Leamer Young Entrepreneur Grant has been established. This grant continues her legacy of empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs in Clarence and Akron, helping them achieve their dreams and contribute to the community Flora cherished.

About the Grant

The Flora B. Leamer Young Entrepreneur Grant is designed to support young entrepreneurs as they take their first steps in business or expand their existing ventures. Administered in partnership with the Eastern Hills Sunrise Rotary Foundation, this grant reflects Flora’s belief in the transformative power of small businesses to shape a vibrant and thriving community.

Purpose:

To provide financial support to young entrepreneurs for starting or expanding a business. Funds can be used as working capital or for purchasing equipment essential for growth.

Annual Allocation:

Up to $3,000 per year.
