Building For Easy's Dog Shelter
Easy's Dog Shelter is run by Andy Wostal, who is the president of this 501(c)3. Andy is "All about the dogs!", as he puts it, and this is a very worthy cause. He has been caring for dogs for over a decade. He is a retired vet and spends his personal funds every month to feed and care for the dogs at the shelter. Also, he has brought food, dog houses, and hay to people in the winter who can't provide this for their dogs. If someone refuses to care for their dogs, Andy and local law enforcement will rescue the dog, including shelter, food, and general care until it is adopted. He provides all their medications, vaccines, and helps to make sure they are social with people and other animals.
The plans for the shelter are grand, as they should be! They include four buildings that will be 80'x20'. One building is complete, and it contains a small office and restroom, along with (16) 5x7 rooms for the dogs. This capacity will increase as more funds become available. We are currently constructing an Intake Building to help process new dogs as they come to the shelter, which will house the new office also. The shelter is located at 1607 Altamont Street in Tracy City.
Andy encourages anyone who is committed to caring for these animals to join him. "The more the merrier," he would say. I hope you will join in supporting the kind of person who selfishly extends himself for their care. We need your help, but, more than anyone, the dogs need your help! Please contribute to this worthy cause, and help make a dog's life filled with care, love, and affection. :)
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause!
