About El Centro de Estudios Judíos Torat Emet

El Centro is dedicated to providing excellence in Jewish Education in Spanish to Jews from all over Latin America. Our mission is to educate and advocate for the return of the "Anusim" - those who are descendants of the Spanish and Portuguese Jews that were forcibly converted out of Judaism back home to their original identity. We do so by educating them about their history, their faith and religious and cultural practices of the Western Sephardic Jewish communities - the Spanish and Portuguese Jews. We are creating videos and online formats to provide outreach to these communities and help organize local chapters to assist them in conversion and return to Judaism according to Jewish Sephardic laws and customs.
