Through extremely hard work and dedicated volunteers and generous donations from several businesses here in El Paso (VFW 8550, ZTEX Construction, Mimbella Contractors and Jobe Concrete) the PGM has raised over $30k so far to build our memorial. It has been a long hard road for all of us but we are closer to the finish line now. We still need to raise $7k to complete this project. Please consider donating to our cause so we can honor our Veterans of the Persian Gulf. You can honor a Veteran of the Persian Gulf (Spouse, Loved One, Friend or Fallen Warrior) by purchasing an engraved brick, which can be permanently placed in front of the memorial, see the picture below of the order form. We are raising money to erect a memorial for the U.S. Veterans of the Persian Gulf Region called the Persian Gulf Memorial (PGM). This memorial will honor all Services and all Veterans from Desert Shield / Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and all Operations both Combat and Non-Combat. If a Veteran has deployed to the Persian Gulf Region, then this memorial is for them. Too many times our service members/family members have been deployed to that region and they are not recognized for their service because it was not a combat operation. These men and women have had to leave their families and friends, and go and live in conditions that were not the best because it's what was asked of them and it was their job.  

Please take time to look at the attached picture of the drawings to see what it will look like once we have finished it. All donations made to this page go for the building of the memorial. Donations not marked for the PGM will go to the general fund of the Old Glory Memorial.  We cannot do this without your help.
