Ellington High School Weight Room Renovation
Ellington High School weight room is in need of an upgrade!
My name is Emil Johnson and I've teamed up with the Ellington Athletics Booster Club to raise money that will provide all of our student athletes as well as our physical education classes a first class training facility. We're looking to raise $35,000 to put in a new floor, four half racks, two full racks all with benches and bumper plates, as well as four glute/ham benches and two sets of dumbbells along with other minor essential equipment.
To further enhance the upgrade, I've pledged my twenty years as a division one strength and conditioning coach experience to teach all our student athletes proper training technique and provide a program to help reduce the risk of injuries as well as improve athletic performance.
Myself and Eric Schmidt have already donated our $2,000 assistant football coaching stipends to kick off this fundraising! Our ultimate goal is to have all the funds in place by the end of March and the renovation completed over April vacation. Here's your opportunity to help the next generation of Ellington athletes reach their potential.
