Help Save the Empire Recovery Center
For more than 50 years, the Empire Recovery Center, a non-profit 501c3, has been a pillar of hope and healing for people battling substance use disorders in Redding and the surrounding Northern California communities. Every day, we provide detox, residential, outpatient, and transitional housing services to individuals who often have nowhere else to turn.
But today—we need your help.
Due to a perfect storm of rising operational costs, delayed reimbursements, and increasing client needs, the Empire Recovery Center is now facing the most critical financial crisis in our history.
We must raise a significant amount of money in order to continue operations, pay our dedicated staff, and avoid closing beds or cutting services.
Why the Empire Matters
We are the only local nonprofit provider offering:
• Social model detox (the only one in the area) with 24/7 support
• Residential treatment with stays up to 90 days
• Seamless detox-to-residential transitions
• Outpatient care
• Future sober living housing and medical detox for clients in early recovery
• Support for unhoused and justice-involved individuals
Every year, hundreds of people come through our doors seeking safety, sobriety, and a new start. Without the Empire, many would be left with no access to timely, local, and compassionate care.
How Your Donation Helps
Funds raised will directly support:
• Paying frontline treatment staff
• Keeping detox and residential beds open
• Covering essential operating costs
• Stabilizing services while we pursue long-term funding solutions
