Rebuild Our Community: Help EBAMA Secure Community Center
Ethiopian Bay Area Muslims Association, Inc (EBAMA) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to uplifting the bay area's Ethiopian muslim community. Our mission is to empower our community by promoting education, righteousness, social justice, and ethical leadership in all aspects of life.
In September 5, 2024, our community center was tragically lost to a fire. While the cause remains under investigation, the impact has been devastating—leaving us without a permanent space to continue our essential programs. Since the property was leased, we now face the challenge of rebuilding from the ground up.
To ensure a stable and lasting home for our programs, the community has come together to purchase a permanent center. This space will serve as a hub for:
✅ Religious and afterschool programs
✅ Youth and professional mentorship
✅ Community engagement & social services
✅ Ramadan iftar and food assistance
✅ Interfaith and community events
This Ramadan, our community generously pledged $800,000, and 50% of the pledge has already been collected. In addition, we have $425,000 from previous fundraising efforts. Our immediate goal is to secure a suitable building for our community by making a substantial down payment.
Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal. Please donate and share this campaign to help us rebuild and strengthen our community for generations to come.
Donate now and be a part of this vital mission!
