Empower Kgololo Academy's Future Growth
South Africa is a country of great promise, however, for thousands of children in the Alexandra Township in Johannesburg, this promise will go unfulfilled. South Africa has the highest income inequality in the WORLD and the Alexandra Township is the most poverty-stricken urban community in South Africa.
Kgololo Academy was established in 2015 in Alexandra Township to support the community with the provision of a world-class education at an accessible cost. For the past nine years Kgololo Academy has proven what we all know is possible; when children have access to a high-quality education led by a community of educators willing to do whatever it takes, all children can achieve at high levels.
For the last nine years, we have rented space from the Methodist Church in Alexandra, however, the space only accommodates 7 classrooms without space for science labs, a hall, sporting grounds, a sufficient play area, or a cafeteria. As we approach year 10, our mission is to provide our students with a world-class facility needed to carry out our vision of ensuring that our 200+ students learn in a space where they have access to all of the resources needed to make their dreams come true.
We are asking for your support as we move into the next chapter of our story. Please make a contribution today to support us in the development of a world-class facility for Kgololo Academy scholars.
