Casey Embree Pass the Hat
On Saturday, 05/25/24, Casey Embree, Journeyman Cable Splicer, was in a serious 4-wheeler accident and was life lighted St.

Louis. He is in serious, but stable condition. He has a broken collar bone, fractured ribs,

fractured spine, and a punctured lung.

Doctors are focusing on keeping his oxygen up and his blood pressure and pain down. The doctors are also worried about pneumonia. Unfortunately, Casey has not been stable enough to be transferred to a hospital closer to home. This will be a

long road to recovery for Casey.

This will result in many unforeseen expenses. Any help to help the family would be greatly appreciated.

Chandler Allison Pass the Hat
Chandler Allison and his wife had their first child at the end of January. Shortly after their child was born he started having seizures and was admitted to the hospital.

Since that time their baby has had to have several extended hospital stays causing numerous days away from work for Chandler to help care for and spend time with the baby.

This pass the hat has been created to help ease some of the financial burden and show our support and love to our Brother and his family.

Tianling Wu Pass the Hat
Tianling became ill on 3/11/24 and was diagnosed with Ramsey Hunt’s Syndrome on the 12th. She experienced awful pain in the ear and paralysis on the left side of her face, preventing her from being able to close that eye.

She was told that it would take a lot of time to heal so she applied for short term disability and was approved. Pain has been somewhat managed by medication. Doctors tell her there is nothing they can do for her, it will just take time.

She has now developed issues with sensitivity to some noises in one ear. She cannot watch tv, listen to music now, drive, or complete almost any tasks. This is really weighing on her mentally.

She is planning to fly to China and stay with her family and hopes to receive more medical attention there. This campaign is to help pay for the flight and any expenses that may arise.

Katie Mitchell Pass the Hat
Katie Mitchell has been part of the Evergy family for several years working at Jeffrey Energy Center, Distribution and most recently joined Audit Services. Katie and family live in Rossville,

KS. Rossville was hit with tornadoes on March 13th, 2024. Fortunately, Katie and family are all safe. However, they have significant damage to their property, barn and vehicles as a result of the tornado that touched down. This will require significant and costly clean up and rebuild/replacement efforts.

Rob White Pass the Hat
Rob White, dist field construction supv based out of F&M, had a heart attack in the beginning of December. The doctors were able to insert a stint that helped with Rob's heart issues.

Since then Rob has been diagnosed with stage 4 T-cell lymphoma, and he has begun chemotherapy treatment. These extenuating situations have lead to financial hardship for his family.

Austin Storts, lineman-splicer apprentice based out of Henrietta Service Center, had a fire at his house early Saturday morning.
