Please contribute to the Scholarship for Her pilot project to support young indigenous girls in Guatemala!

We are aiming to raise $3,500 to launch this project by funding two girls for the entire 2025 school year. Your contribution will help cover their tuition fees, school supplies, uniforms, books, and other essential educational materials.

This is the first step in a long-term effort to provide life-changing opportunities to girls who would otherwise not be able to continue their studies.

The two girls we want to support are from rural indigenous communities in Guatemala, where economic hardship and cultural expectations often force young girls to drop out of school. With your support, we can provide them with the resources and encouragement they need to stay in school and reach their potential.

This pilot project is just the beginning – with your help, we can create a sustainable scholarship program that will continue to impact the lives of many more indigenous girls, helping them break the cycle of poverty and become leaders in their communities.

The Scholarship for Her is a new project founded by Julissa Alvarenga, a native Guatemalan who works with US nonprofits like EWE Tours.
