About Fahnestock Ranch
To locate and take in all equines including various breeds of horses, donkeys, and mules that are abandoned, neglected, abused, unwanted and in danger of going to slaughter. These equine are brought to our facility for TLC and all necessary care and support to rehabilitate them from their past cruel experiences, and afford them a better life into adoptive forever loving homes. During their stay at the ranch volunteers deliver daily necessary care and natural horsemanship training to restore or gain their trust in mankind. This is a time process that varies for each individual equine mostly dependent upon the severity of their past cruelty.
