Families For Houston

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm Patrick Hauck, the volunteer gardener at the Houston School in West Mount Airy, in northwest Philadelphia. I’m raising money to benefit Families For Houston, and any donation will help make an impact by expanding and improving the gardens that are being developed there. The purpose of this campaign is to add a fence along the edge of the hillside along the outdoor classroom on Rural Lane to clearly define it and make it safer for students and teachers. The funds will also be used to purchase native pollinator plant materials to do a mass planting on the steep hillside.This all volunteer effort has made a huge impact on the environment around the school and creates a welcoming and beautiful atmosphere for students, staff and the surrounding community.
