BlackLoveFestival San Francisco is fundraising
Black Love Festival
Farms to Grow presents the First Annual Black Love Festival in Heron’s Head Park, San Francisco, *free of charge* for the community on July 18th, 2015. The Festival showcases a stellar lineup of Bay Area and national artists, vocalists and spoken word performers.
We’ve designed this event to reflect the theme of Black Love, calling for recognition of the importance of self-care, self-healing, respect for one another and collective efficacy in the Black Community.
Black Love Festival has made a commitment to sustainable community building and innovative organizing practices to preserve the diversity and cultural balance of the local environment. We aim to create a space for students and residents of the Bay Area and beyond to transform art into a discussion about leveraging social capital to affect positive change, peace and unity.
Local #BlackLivesMatter organizers and community-based organizations will provide resources to attendees on ways to be involved in the #BlackLivesMatter movement long term as well as an opportunity to learn more about the impact that environmental racism has had on the Southeast sector of San Francisco.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to support this festival - organized with love for the community, by the community.

Keeping the event free for all to enjoy is a critical part of the Black Love Festival mission, so we greatly appreciate any and all donations. Black Love Festival also has varying corporate sponsorship levels, so please reach out to [email redacted] (dot) com if you’re interested.
