About Federation of Jewish Communities of the CIS

The Federation of Jewish Communities (FJC) was established to revive the Jewish communities of the Former Soviet Union. We provide extensive humanitarian aid, Jewish formal and nonformal education, organize cultural events and religious services, establish and develop Jewish communities and rebuild Jewish institutions. Our main bureau represents member interests on the international front, and also represent community members in government and institutional forums. FJC strives to develop and maintain good working relations with members of other faiths. Since its launch, over ninety rabbis and countless community leaders were posted in central locations, and been recognized as an umbrella organization that represents and administers a variety of established funds and institutions.
