Pets of the Homeless' task is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of the homeless who cannot provide for their pets.

The bond between pets and people isn't dependent on having a roof. The economy may be healing, but the homeless situation is not. Once a person lands in homelessness it is a daily struggle to get out. With a pet, it becomes more difficult.
