Fellowship Deaconry Inc (Day Camp Sunshine)

We are excited to announce that Sunshine Preschool was able to transform an outdated activity classroom into a new STEM classroom. We are so happy to have this space set aside for STEM activities and learning; however, in order for the children to fully benefit from this room, we need to complete the room with age-appropriate tables and storage shelving for the activity’s supplies and materials. Organizing the STEM supplies and materials will not only keep our children safe, but also allow them to see, imagine, and build new things lifting their spirits, self-confidence and overall learning experience.

At Day Camp Sunshine, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the love of Jesus, build friendships, and make lasting memories. Our Scholarship Fund helps make this possible by providing financial assistance to families who otherwise couldn't afford our camp program.

In 2024, thanks to generous supporters like you, we were able to sponsor 83 weeks of camp, giving children a chance to experience Christ's love through camp!

For Giving Tuesday this year, Sunshine Preschool is raising money towards new and improved walkie-talkies. We are so incredibly grateful to have a beautiful property and an expansive multi-level building for our students to explore and enjoy. New walkie-talkies would help improve communication between teachers and administrators during the school day and during outside times. The safety of our students and staff is extremely important to us at Sunshine Preschool. We feel that two-way radios are an effective safety measure to help keep students and staff safe and secure.

Day Campsunshine has been blessed with the most amazing staff members! Being a counselor is a lot of fun, but that does not mean it's an easy job! We want to think of little ways to say thank you to our staff! Donations will go towards a new breakroom, cold drinks on a hot afternoon, an appreciation dinner, and healthy snacks.

This year we are raising funds to purchase an Indoor GaGa Pit! This will allow us to offer GAGA as an activity during our winter programs, on a rainy day, or when we get hit with an occasional heat wave. Gaga is one of our camper's favorite activities and we know they are going to love it!
