Major Allen D Broussard Scholarship
The Major Allen D Broussard scholarship fund will provide an annual award to the graduating Fern Creek High School JROTC cadet that best exemplifies the qualities of leadership and citizenship.
Major Broussard touched countless lives in his 20 years as a teacher at Fern Creek and student scholarships were one of his passions. During his tenure he helped students apply for and earn more than $3 million in college scholarships, even returning from retirement into a special position as scholarship coordinator where he continued to inspire and help students achieve. It is fitting that we honor his legacy with a scholarship in his name.
Donations are tax deductible and you will receive an emailed receipt. Once the fund accumulates $25,000 it will be turned over to the Community Foundation of Louisville for management and distribution. In the interim the funds will be held in a special account and managed by the JROTC Booster Club
