FICA

On Friday, September 28th 2018, a 7.5 SR earthquake and 18-ft tall tsunami devastate Palu and Donggala, Sulawesi, Indonesia.  So far, the tsunami and earthquake has affected almost 2000 death victims, 2500 people injured, and >65,000 people without housing (updated 10/10/18). Roads to the area is very difficult to access which makes emergency relief from the central government also very slow and death tolls is still predicted to rise sharply. 

This fundraiser is hosted by FICA (Fellowship of Indonesian Christians in America) (www.fica.org). The funds gathered will support a trustable organization from Manado area who has been experienced with disaster relief including efforts on the aftermath of Lombok earthquake in July 2018.  The team is currently on their way to Palu and will carry out immediate needs such as medical relief, medicine, food, water, tents, clothes, and more.
