First American Baptist Church has a long and storied history of serving in the Anchorage community. This ministry, led by me, Rev. Dr. Patricia Wilson-Cone, serves a very diverse congregation including youth, young adults, and elders from all over Anchorage. As we are seeing renewed energy and growth in our congregation, we are hopeful and joyful about the future of the ministry.

With over sixty years in the current building, the time has come for some much needed building renovations and repairs that exceed the current budget. In particular, the building needs a new roof as soon as possible. With plans to explore re-opening a childcare center, creating a before and afterschool program, increase the use of the event space, and continue the growth of the congregation, it is imperative that this first repair is completed expeditiously.

With the faith of a mustard seed, our faithful congregation seeks your support to continue the work of the ministry. Consider this...if everyone who sees this gives, and then forwards it to at least 10 others and encourages them to give and forward to another 10 people, and this continues, we WILL reach our goal.
