For His Glory Church Ministries, Inc - Building
Welcome to the For His Glory Church Ministries, Inc. GoFundMe page, where we share our exciting progress and extend an invitation to join us in supporting our mission.
WHO WE ARE:
For His Glory Church Ministries, Inc. (FHGCMINC) is a non-denominational, Sabbath-keeping ministry, established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our journey began with a prayer group called "Shackle Breakers" in early 2001, commissioned to take our faith to the streets, minister to broken souls, and create positive change in violent and impoverished neighborhoods. Over the past 22 years, FHGCMINC has been a steadfast asset to the Greater Hartford community.
OUR JOURNEY:
FHGCMINC's founder, Apostle Dr. Suzette M. Myles, received a divine call to shepherd those who, like herself, were once broken, lost, and bound. Through dedication, prayer, and a deep love for the Lord, the ministry has grown, nurturing strong leaders, entrepreneurs, and businesses committed to spreading the Gospel. We've touched the lives of individuals from all walks of life, including addicts, the mentally ill, the homeless, those suffering from illness, and those seeking guidance and love.
OUR MISSION:
We have reached a significant milestone in our journey. FHGCMINC has successfully purchased a building, the former Polish National Home, located at 60 Charter Oak Ave, Hartford, CT. This building will be a cornerstone for our community outreach, allowing us to feed the homeless, provide counseling, and host events that foster fellowship and introduce our ministry to the community.
HOW YOU CAN HELP NOW:
While we have acquired our building, there are vital needs we require your support for. Your generous donations will enable us to update our HVAC system, conduct giveaways, hold back-to-school drives, and organize kids' outreach events. Additionally, we are committed to expanding our services to:
- Providing counseling for grief-stricken families who have lost loved ones to violence.
- Helping teenage parents develop essential parenting skills.
- Assisting people in coping with the aftermath of domestic violence.
- Offering guidance and education to young adults aged 16-24 on bridging the gap to adulthood.
- Transforming our building into a community center environment to provide a wide range of support to the community.
We implore you to join us in fulfilling these crucial needs. FHGCMINC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, making your contributions tax-deductible under Code section 170.
OUR GOALS:
FHGCMINC is more than just a place of worship; it's a community of counselors, chefs, artists, child care providers, teachers, and more, ready to serve their community. Our goal is to be a beacon of hope in the Hartford area, building a brighter and better community that meets the needs of its residents.
Acts 20:35 reminds us that "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Thank you for your contribution, and please share our link, tell a friend, and look forward to fellowshipping with us at FHGCMINC in the near future.
