The museum you know and love is expanding our facilities to house more of the great works of living art, some dating back to 1887. During the recent years, our dedicated crew of volunteers have been able to restore back to their original glory, seven historic trains and trolleys! At this very moment, two more are underway and one is looking forward to rejoining the fleet this coming season. These precious artifacts need a safe place to rest when not being used to educate and demonstrate an era of bygone transportation.

WE'VE GOT OURSELVES A GOOD OL' FASHION BARN RAISING! And the only way we will be able to see this project through is with the support of followers and the community that we so love to serve. With permitting issued in mid-November, our dedicated team of volunteers wasted no time starting to do all the prep work we could to save as much money as possible. ALL our funding is from donors like you, augmented by income from our all-volunteer-run trolley museum events.

The Fox River Trolley Museum has already raised the money to cover the cost of the building itself, but so much more goes into a completed project. As of this point, our all-volunteer project team has been able to complete over $100,000 worth of grading, earthwork, and other preparations needed to start the building process. Every penny counts, and we do all we can before we pay to have it done.
