2023 FreeLake 8U Cal Ripken World Series Fund
The FreeLake 8U All-Star team won the 2023 Cal Ripken 8U New England Regional Championship on July 27th, 2023 and earned a spot in the 2023 8U Cal Ripken World Series in Cherry Hill, NJ. The World Series tournament for the team begins on August 11th. These boys have been practicing and playing together for months and now have the opportunity to represent our small towns of Freetown and Lakeville on the national level. The tournament will consist of 10-12 teams from around the nation and will also feature up to four international teams.
With the Regional Championship finishing just two weeks before the start of the World Series, the team is seeking assistance from our community to help make the dreams of these young ballplayers come true. All proceeds received from this campaign will go directly to the families to assist with travel, lodging, and associated tournament expenses.
