The #DressProudly Campaign
Empowering every student, irrespective of their economic background, to feel equal, confident, and united among their peers. This is the mission of #DressProudly Campaign.
Lack of proper uniforms has become a major hindrance to students from remote regions of Nepal where they are forced to come to school in tattered and torn clothes. The psychological barriers due to the lack of uniforms is profound, directly impacting students’ confidence, self-esteem, and attendance.
Through The #DressProudly Campaign, we are providing uniform tracksuit sets and shoes to students in need. So far, we have supported 298 students with the campaign, and we aim to support 200 more in the near term.
The cost of uniforms package is $20 and includes the following:
● T-shirt
● Trouser
● Jacket
● Socks
● Shoes
We have a special way of executing The #DressProudly Campaign- it's not just a “donation” program. Uniforms are distributed as gifts in a special program where the following activities are conducted:
● Sound healing session
● Teaching breathing techniques
● Practicing physical and mental wellness
● Educational games
● Visual storytelling
● Talent round
● Interaction session with parents, and teachers
