Rebuilding the Emoyeni Farm - Post Fire
Emoyeni is in part supported by the macadamia nut farm they own. The farm serves as income for the ministry and as a place to host kids camps, church services, mission teams, retreats, interns and more.
Two weeks ago there a huge fire on the farm. Fires are not uncommon due to how dry it get in the winter, but this fire was much more destructive than any before it. Over 500 macadamia nut trees were damaged, 1.5 miles of irrigation piping and hundreds of sprinklers to water trees and plants were destroyed, a supply shed and everything in it burned, the youth camp facility showers were destroyed, and a farm truck was damaged.
Insurance will cover some of the damages but not all, and certainly not the labor to relay the irrigation pipping and rebuild the destroyed structures, or cover the loss of income from the destroyed trees.
So I am asking you to prayerfully consider giving to this rebuilding effort. Emoyeni is a bright light of hope for so many in the community they serve! The campaign will run through Dec. 3rd.
Thank you so much for your generosity!
