DID YOU HEAR??? Our longest resident FINALLY found her forever home!

Reign was in the Paws in Prison program for nearly 2 years, and over 15 months of those two years, she was being housed in a boarding kennel because she didn’t do so well in the prison environment.

We are very happy to announce that Reign finally found her forever home! She is so happy and doing amazing! But unfortunately Reign leaves behind a major problem that needs your help.

15 months in a boarding kennel is very pricey even with MAJOR discounts. In 2023, Reign's total boarding and care bill was over $13,000. And that was after the kennel, K9 Country Club, gave a generous discount of nearly $9,000. Paws in Prison had to pay over 4,700 last year. In 2024, Reign's bill was $10,567 when she checked out. Once again K9 Country Club donated over $7,020 towards this bill leaving Paws in Prison with a balance of $3,547.

This is the rescue equivalent to a homeowner having to buy a new roof! We are dedicated to spending on veterinary care, training tools and food but sometimes, an unexpected and necessary large expense is required!

So many of you expressed that you wanted to adopt Reign but just couldn't at the time.
