Medical Masks for Bozeman Health (“MMFBH”) is a grass roots volunteer brigade of crafters providing urgently needed medical masks to Bozeman Montana’s healthcare providers during this Coronavirus pandemic emergency.  

Currently there is a grave shortage of medical masks for healthcare providers, putting them and their patients at great risk. MMFBH has responded to this urgent need by making and distributing reusable cloth masks.  These masks are constructed with pockets, in which micron-rated filters are inserted to provide greater protection than cloth only masks. MMFBH’s masks, after going through  a rigorous review process by Bozeman Deaconess Hospital’s Incident Command Team, have been approved for their use.

Despite being crafted by volunteers, these masks are expensive to produce and use because new filters are required after every use. In just a little over one week MMFBH will have delivered its first 1,000 masks to Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital. Our goal is to deliver 5,000 more in the weeks to come and even more in the weeks and months thereafter. With your donation and the tireless help of our committed volunteers, we plan to meet or exceed this goal.
