Help keep Judith Drotar's legacy of love alive!!!
Hello,
We are fundraising in honor of the amazing Judith Drotar who passed away last March. Dr Bea Cameron and Friends of The American International School of Algiers ( AISA) propose to establish The Judith Drotar Arts Center in her memory and in recognition of her contributions to establishing AISA and shepherding it for its first seven years.
It is proposed that the Judith Drotar Art Center include:
- A portable iron stage at. $6, 000
- Curtains and structure with mechanism to raise and lower at $2,500
- Costume storage shed improvements at $3,000
- Maker storage, seating and supplies at $3500
- Maker space tools at $5000
TOTAL: $20,000
Judith was passionate about the Arts. In her personal life, she collected paintings and pottery from the countries where she lived. She encouraged drama, creativity, comedy, and artistic expression at AISA. Judith believed that students developed confidence and personal skills through the Arts and scheduled many AISA celebrations for holidays and international events which included costumes, presentations, poetry, writing and music. The Judith Drotar Arts Center will support the continued inclusion of the Arts as an integral component of the AISA educational experience.
Your donations will go directly to the Friends of the American International School of Algiers Foundation, a tax- exempt and nonprofit organization that supports the school
