Help us Bring Joy to Kids in Honduras this Holiday Season
At FAINC- Bridges of Hope , we believe that every child deserves a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. Yet, in the rural areas we serve, poverty and malnutrition leave many families struggling to provide even the basics.
More than 89% of the population lives in poverty, and over 12% of children under five suffer from chronic malnutrition, putting their lives at risk and stunting their growth. For these communities, the holiday season is a reminder not just of hope but of the urgent need for essentials—nutrition, healthcare, education, and safe living conditions.
Through our First Steps , a comprehensive program for development of children under six years old, we work with 1,300 children across 18 communities in promoting healthy development. Our work has shown that change is possible: over the past ten years, we’ve reduced malnutrition from 14.7% to 4.3%, helping hundreds of children grow stronger and healthier.
During this Season of Gratitude and Giving, join us by expanding this program, further by spreading hope and making a lasting difference in the lives of children and families in southern Honduras.
