About Fuzzy Hearts Animal Rescue
MISSION STATEMENT: The organization operates as a foster-care/Rescue facility for companion animals who would otherwise be euthanized by local animal shelters and adopt the animals into appropriate permanent homes. The organization principally accepts animals which may not be readily adoptable because of poor socialization or aggression, and the organization’s volunteers work with the animals regarding socialization skills, food/animal aggression and related issues. The organization also participates in community programs that promote spay and neuter and conducts humane education “seminars,” teaching school-aged children how to properly care for animals. These activities are conducted by the organization’s volunteers and foster-care families. The organization intends to become more involved with spay/neuter programs and to offer spay/neuter assistance and other veterinary services to low income families as funding for those activities becomes available. Our main goal is to limit the number of available animals in our kill shelters and show them the value and trust they contain. With the help of fundraisers and donations we can push forward and "SAVE ANIMALS ONE PAW AT A TIME".
