Georgie Badiel Foundation

Saayan has been very intrigued by a book he reads called Water Princess and he has been wanting to find a way to help the water princess- Gie Gie, a little girl from a small village in Africa who walks miles and miles every day to get water. This year, for his 4th birthday, Heetan and I want to make his wish come true by  raising some money that helps provide clean water in places like Gie Gie’s small village. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to Saayan and to us.

Students at Lancaster Elementary read The Water Princess and were moved to tears that some children must walk miles every day for dirty water.

Lancaster Elementary School is closing this year. The students want to create a legacy for Lancaster by helping kids in Africa get clean water. 

Please join our Lancaster Legacy campaign to bring clean water to children in Africa. We are partnering with the Georgie Badiel Foundation to refurbish a well. If we exceed our goal, we could refurbish additional wells or dig a new well.

First graders at Lancaster have made clean water book-bag tags and key chains. We are selling them at school to raise money. In addition, students have written to local businesses for additional support for their Lancaster Legacy.
