Germantown Life Enrichment Center

Mission: The Germantown Life Enrichment Center, following a 145 year old tradition of Christian service to persons of all ages, ethnic groups, and religious affiliations [because of our origins as the YMCA of Germantown], seeks to provide a wide range of physical, intellectual, and social programs which will improve the quality of life for individuals and families who desire to reach their full potential in a wholesome friendly environment. Additionally, GLEC has added environmental health to its focus on human health, by changing its own practices and modeling them for the community, teaching healthy practices to after school and summer camp participants, and sponsoring the Germantown Sustainability Network.
