Galatians 6 : 2, "Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
Ghana Association for Medical Aid (GAMA) is dedicated to doing our part in carrying the burden of our fellow mankind. As a commitment to our calling, our aim is to help the less privileged who need basic medical attention. The success of our medical mission is consistent with the lives that we have positively impacted locally and abroad.
The pictures below depicts the need for compassionate medical care. It is an unfortunate situation and ultimately an “eye-opener” to us all. It is also a stark contrast to the level of medical treatment that we take for granted. The picture tell the story of four-year-old Joseph A who lives in a small village in Kumasi Ghana. At age two, little Joseph ingested a cell battery sustaining significant damage to his esophagus. This resulted in the placement of a feeding tube and tracheostomy tube but there’s additional need for surgical intervention. The feeding tube is secured to his upper body by an elastic band. His sparse clothing often exposes his abdomen, increasing the risk of infection at the surgical site.
GAMA has initiated a joint venture with Uriel Impact, a non-profit organization in
Ghana . A fundraising to facilitate the required surgical intervention and post operative care for this young man.
Join us in making a difference. Your support and donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us all.
