Dahlia Rose Chapin, age 10 of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully in her mother's arms Friday, August 18, 2023 at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born in Neenah on March 12, 2013 to Jamie and Erin (Schaefer) Chapin, the oldest of three children.
Dahlia and her family are members of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She had a fierce love for Jesus and loved attending church and Sunday school. Dahlia attended Franklin Elementary School and loved being a "Franklin Falcon". She proudly completed 4th grade this past school year. She enjoyed all of her teachers and classmates at Franklin.
Dahlia was a light in the world. She loved participating in plays, especially Frozen Jr., dancing, yoga, riding her bike, eating at Olive Garden, camping, and swimming. She loved visiting Florida with her family, taking trips to Disney World, and visiting Give Kids The World Village, or "Candy Land", as she called it. Dahlia was a jokester who loved to tell jokes and make others laugh. She enjoyed crafting, making special notes and pictures for mom and dad and making friendship bracelets. She loved spending time with mom painting, cooking, baking, shopping trips to Target and visiting Starbucks for a Dragon Drink or Caramel Frappuccino. She loved playing with her siblings and cousins, especially Savannah.
