Glean Ministries

Over these last few months I have had several exciting life changes. I have recently graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health and I will be attending graduate school in the fall. I moved back to Cleveland, Ohio and will remain here until the fall. In the midst of all of these exciting life changes, I was invited to come alongside and serve with a ministry called Glean ministries in March to Benin and Nigeria. I will be abroad for about two months! This has been a dream of mine since I was 14 years old!

Glean ministries works in Romania, Nigeria and Benin. They began in 1996 with a vision of being available to pick up those “left behind” as the main harvest swept through. Since that time they have started numerous churches and served through many different programs and ministries. The reason why I choose to serve with Glean ministries is because I have seen hundreds of lives impacted by the works of this ministry. My family and I have also been close friends with their family for years.

There will be several things we will be doing during this trip. I will be helping with future projects concerning maternal and infant health which is something I am very passionate about! We will be preparing two mobile clinics for future visiting medical teams and plan to have a medical mission in March. I am excited to use my new degree in public health and apply them with hands on experience. Glean Ministries will also be establishing their new class of 33 student pastors in a bible school. This includes academic classes, small businesses and their field work in the villages. We will also continue training for local village leaders to work in the dispensaries and to evangelize in new villages and support current village churches.
 
With all of this being said, I am asking if you could partner with me in one or two ways*. There is a $2,500 need for me to go on this trip. This will cover travel, visa's, vaccinations, food, lodging etc. for the two month stay. Any amount would be amazing! The second thing is that there is a need for prayer as the team and myself embark on this mission trip. If you are willing to support me in any of those two ways I would really appreciate it!

Here are some of the prayer points:
1.   For the people we are reaching to experience God in a way that surpasses their lack of need. 
2.  That the Lord would protect the team and guide us to where he desires us to go
