GlobalGiving is a nonprofit founded in 2002, serving on an international level. It has operated in the United States, Africa, Asia, South America, etc., supporting communities all around the world. Since 2002, GlobalGiving has raised more than 464 million dollars from over a million donors. It has created 25,000+ projects in 170 countries.

GlobalGiving's disaster relief funds support immediate and long-term relief and recovery work to areas impacted by COVID-19. Initially, these funds will give communities on the front lines of the crisis the resources they need to act quickly and protect the most vulnerable. These funds will provide financial support for vulnerable populations such as elderly, sickly, in-home workers, etc. Once initial relief work is complete, this fund will transition to support longer-term recovery efforts run by local, vetted organizations in the affected regions.
