Hello Everyone,
Canvas Ministry at Good Community Church (GCC) is sending missionaries to Pusan, South Korea!
But these missionaries can’t do it alone. They need your help and participation!.
This is a 2 week mission, occurring the last week of July and the first week of August, with total 7 missionaries from GCC.
South Korea was once a shining example of Christian faith to the world. Sadly, times have changed.
While it is true that the older generation is still strong in its faith, more and more every year, the percentage of South Korea’s young adults and youth who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior is in decline.
So much so that now, South Korea is considered unreached.
To help turn the tide, God is sending Pastor, CJ, Lois and four other brothers and sisters from our congregation to do our part in reaching the unreached.
On the ground, Steven Yang, the IMB Missionary in Korea, is connecting the Mission Team to three different churches near Pusan: (1) Opening Road Church; (2) Jesus Sharing Church; (3) Han Life Church.
Once there, the Mission Team will have an English camp, VBS-style, one at each church for: (1) 50 elementary students, (2) 30 middle and high schoolers, and (3) 10 university youth group students.
If in your heart to do so, the Mission Team humbly requests your monetary donation to help out with costs for trip.
In addition, the Mission Team requests that you pray for all of us as we prepare for the trip, for the safety of the trip itself, and the success of the mission in Pusan.
